What is the process?
When you first contact me, we will discuss what you're looking for, and how we will work together. We will discuss your timeline, your expectations and your needs.
Most grading and tech editing projects will begin with you completing a form that covers the details of the project. Then, you will send me your PDF, Word Doc or other format pattern. Once I have completed the service, I will return your document to you in PDF format, or other format at your request.
For tech editing projects, I can offer an additional service where you can accept all changes, and I will then edit your pattern with the needed changes for you and send you a completed file.
How much will it cost?
This varies a lot, depending on what you are looking for.
Most tech editing jobs take between 1 - 4 hours.
Most grading projects take between 3 - 10 hours.
What affects the cost?
Things that might make a project take longer include: complex lace, large size range, unusual construction, or other complexities.
Quick projects are typically accessories such as hats, socks or mittens.
How does payment work?
I will send you a PayPal invoice for the number of hours the project took, once the project has been completed.
If we are working together long-term, we might set up a system where I will invoice you fortnightly or monthly. This is negotiable and flexible.
